So after a short break due to illness, I'm back on top form training hard as ever. I noticed, this site seems practically dead, nobody seems to go on it any more. If there's anybody out there, please send me a message to let me know that I'm not the only one left alive on this site.
So yeah, anyway, I've started full training again, just finishing now after a two hour session, and am going to browse the web for circus schools 'coz I want to be an acrobat. A bit later I'll do an hour and a half of dance, then half an hour of gentle stretches, before going to bed. My split is coming along now, I'm about a centimeter and a half off the floor, and I can drop back into bridge nearly 100% of the time, witch means less bumped heads. Life's good.
Seriously though, if any1 is alive, send me a message, please.
I never thought I'd say it, but I took a huge break from the serious contortion stretching I was doing. I was pushing myself, improving in flexibility like crazy - and I let the events of life make me too busy to keep up with it. For anyone who wants to get into contortion - go for it and stick with it. I am getting back into it now. It really truly changed my life, my health and overall happiness! Sounds funny - but I dedicated one hour at night every night to stretching. Do you know what happened?
I lost weight, I became extremely toned and firm. I slept better, ate better and even though there was no cardiovascular workout involved every night - I really improved my health. I felt GREAT every day and energized by doing some simple stretches everynight.
So, I am going to start again - and will take you through my journey. I will post progress pictures as I need to get back into things. The most amazing thing is that my back is still pretty flexible even though I've not stretched it much in months.
